New 2008 Summer Fuel Survey Update
As a service to our customers and the boating public in the Pacific Northwest, Fine Edge is publishing a weekly fuel price survey to assist in planning your fuel purchases. In our survey we noted significant differences in fuel prices that could change the cost of re-fueling your boat significantly. Prices and terms can change. Some fuel docks offer a quantity discount, some a cash discount (not shown in the survey). Phone numbers are provided in case you want to call ahead to confirm a fuel price.
I have also included the text from an article I wrote that recently appeared in Northwest Yachting Magazine that includes tips on how to save fuel when cruising.
Let me know your comments and experiences with our survey.

New Glacier Bay Regulations Proposed
March 7, 2006 —
New
regulations have been proposed at Glacier Bay National Park & Reserve
in Alaska. Most significant is the requirement for an orientation session the
first time you plan to visit Glacier Bay, with no briefing required thereafter.
If Glacier Bay is on your itinerary this year, you may want to have a look.
